What where when?

Instructions for guided tours

Are you planning to join a guided bike tour in Helsinki? Here you will find information and useful tips on how to prepare for the best possible activity in Helsinki Central Park. These guidelines apply to excursions for which no other arrangements have been made.

Meeting place

We will meet at our rental office in Helsinki at Hotel Haaga Central Park, Nuijamiestentie 10, 00320 Helsinki. Please arrive about 15 minutes before the start time, so that we can share the bikes and start smoothly on time.

What is included in the trips?

Of course the bikes! Depending on your choice, the bike can be either electric or muscle-powered. In addition, all participants will be provided with a high-quality helmet and, if necessary, powerful headlights. When mountain biking, a helmet is compulsory, and it must also be suitable and properly adjusted. Of course, you can also use your own helmet.

How to dress?

You need weatherproof equipment for cycling. In late autumn, winter and early spring, special attention should be paid to protecting your feet, hands and face. Otherwise, windproof and water-resistant clothing is important, especially if the weather is chilly and windy or rainy. Please also note that water and mud may fly on your clothes during the hike, depending on the weather. Long scarves, shoulder bags and wide sleeves are a safety hazard.

Preparation

A hungry and thirsty cyclist is rarely a happy cyclist. Always eat and drink well before biking. Bring something to drink and a little extra energy, like a snackbar.

Other important things!

For the safety reasons, all participants must be sober. If you have any known medical conditions or other restrictions that you would like the guide to be aware of, you can let us know in advance or tell the guide directly before the tour starts.
